JH Cross Country places at 4 way meet

On Tues, the JH cross country team ran a 4 way meet at Central Noble. Sam Keily won the boys race with a time of 11:39, with Levi Skinner and Eli Lantz finishing 6th & 10th. Maggie Burita and Kaite Graft placed 4th & 5th for the girls team.

Both guys and girls beat Central Noble

The high school cross country team competed against Central Noble last night, with both the lady’s and men’s squad winning their races. The lady’s squad was led by Julia Folland coming in 1st overall, Darby Allen in 2nd and Stacia Fester in 4th. The men’s squad was led by Jacob Eyer and Blake Gross coming

Jr. High Cross Country West Noble Invite

This past Saturday, the Jr. High cross country team competed in the 44th annual West Noble Invite with 31 other schools; girls placing 27th & boys placing 25th. It was a good day for the boys with many beating their PR times for the season. Out of 212 runners, Mason Gray placed 58th with a PR time of 11:46.

West Noble Invite Results

The high school cross country competed against 24 teams and more than 600 runners in the West Noble Invitational Saturday. The ladies’ team was led by Julia Folland with a 37th  place finish. The men’s team finished second against the NECC teams and finished ahead of both of their county rivals, Whitko and Columbia City.

JH Cross Country vs. Fairfield and Prairie Heights

The Jr. High cross country team faced 2 tough conference teams at home on Tuesday night. Both teams were defeated by Fairfield and Prairie Heights. Mason Gray ran his personal best with a time of 12:08 and placed 5th overall. The girls were led by Maggie Burita and Kaitlynne Gaerte placing 11th and 12th overall.

Jr. High Cross Country competes against Central Noble

Last night, the Jr. High cross country team competed against Central Noble. Mason Gray finished 2nd overall for the boys with at time of 12:09, while Maggie Burita and Kaitlynne Gaerte led the girls team. Kaitlynne also set a PR with a time of 14:28.
